 I have decided where I am going on my next trip and it couldn't be a more perfect day to blog about it. We are officially in our countdown starting today for the end of the world (according to the Mayan Calendar) so you can imagine where I will be traveling. It was in my Anthropology class where I was first learned about the Mayan Creation Story or should I say the 

Popol Vuh.

  In my opinion, it is one of the more interesting creation stories out there, and although I have traveled to Mexico many times I have yet to really experience the rich culture the country and these beautiful humans have to offer, I have only touched the surface and I couldn't think of a better way to travel then by bus and plans are to travel all the way down to Cancun stopping  everywhere in between. I won't be there for a few months, but better to get excited about it now then wait and start the COUNTDOWN.

Its been cold, and raining all week long. This is the first day of sunlight we will see until sometime next week.
